A "lock" applied when the opponent's wrist is grabbed and the opposite arm is put through the backside of the opponent's arm then locking the applier's own wrist forming a figure four. When cranked away from the opponent, excruciating pain endures. This is typically applied from side-control or the guard.

When Masahiko Kimura fought Helio Gracie, he didn't set out to get a move named after him, or for that matter, a shirt made after him.  He just wanted to make sure he didn't lose in front of the 20,000 people in attendance.  Masahiko managed to break Helio's arm with this submission.  Despite having his arm broken, in a great show of heart and resiliance, Helio never tapped.

Needless to say, there's a lot of history behind the origins of this move.  You'll often see this performed in the UFC, MMA Matches, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu matches.  We love this shirt, and so should you.
